How do you use "Precious" to turn invisible?

I have been trying to figure this artifact out since I bought the game. It seems to be a unique item that drops from Bogus. When I equip it on a commander it only seems to give a slight stat increase but I don't gain any option for stealth.

I've even tried using precious on hoburg thinking maybe the special effects are tied to unit slots for "hobbit" type creatures.

One last question as well concerning this item. Will some type of horror "find" my unit while I have it equipped or will horror marking occur etc?

Please let me know if you can offer any information because in my current MP game, if I cannot unlock the power of this artifact, all is probably lost and I might as well go AI.

Hmmm, I think it literally just increases your attack and defense by three. Can be handy on cheap thug...

I think the name is just a bit of a LoTR reference that doesn't have anything to do with actual mechanics.

Are you sure because I remember someone saying they used it on the headless hoburg and was able to equip the black heart and assassinate enemy commanders.

I am hoping that it does work so I can put it on my pretender with the black heart and go assassinate lesser pretenders in their home provinces.

Doesn't the black heart make you stealthy? Or does it just make you a non-stealthy assassin, which I don't really understand, though I think some exist?

It doesn't make you stealthy. I am going to play around a little more and figure out how to unlock the stealth power on Precious. Once I figure it out, I will post it here and maybe some cool pretender (Or other SC) assassin strategies can be formed around it.
