Fountain of Blood hunt bonus
Does anyone know exactly what hunt bonus the Fountain of Blood gets?
I have a B3 Fountain who captured 10 slaves one month and 8 the next. With a hunt bonus of 10, an open d6 roll should give a minimum 14 slaves, shouldn't it?

Re: Fountain of Blood hunt bonus
I don't remember whether it was mentioned, but have an impression that it's open-ended DOWN as well (such as 1 gives you another roll that's a penalty)...

Re: Fountain of Blood hunt bonus
I've seen as little as three slaves on a Blood 10 Fountain of Blood, so unless you hack open the game files there is no easy way to find out.
+10 is the accepted wisdom.

Re: Fountain of Blood hunt bonus
Blood slave availability is tied to site frequency. So if you play low site frequency games, you get less slaves. Unrest increases difficulty of finding slaves, so if there is a lot of unrest, you should find less.

Thanks for the info! The manual just says that you either pass or fail the check for any slaves at all, for unrest, and then the number is just an open d6 + blood level (including bonus).
You wouldn't happen to have the actual formula for number of slaves following a successful hunt, would you?

No, I don't have the formula.

Re: Fountain of Blood hunt bonus
I think your dominion strenght also plays a role. I am playing a game as midgard, and at the beggining my blood mages caught almost nothing, but after a few turns, they began to get slaves more freçuently. And after my pretender´s awakening, they often get batches of ten or so...
