brainstorm
I remember that there was an old post in which all submitted their's ideas for mods and i've decided to make a new post like that.
the reason are egoistic. my troll mod was ambitious, too ambitious and i cant finish it as i wanted and so i understand that i'm not a good modder.
but im a good thinker soi decided to give the ideas for some nations, hoping some good modder will take care of them

Re: brainstorm
one of my ideas was that: we have france(ma marignon) spain(la marignon) germay(ulm)england(man) but what nation we miss? italy of course.
maybe they should have good holy(pope hero?) low magic(church's fault as in ulm)gunpowder unit(an,1 hit in 2 turn, low precision, maybe fear).
maybe an hero(michelangelo) that spawn stone units or a leonardo da vinci spawning mechanical units.
for me they shuld have a steam-punk flavour.
of course a pizza-monster too f/n lv 9 of construction.
and some very good units that may be used only in sea(venice dominion in mediterrean sea since the discovery of america)

Re: brainstorm
I had an idea a while back for an underwater fire nation. Basically it would revolve around what amounts to sentient tube worms, like the ones that chill underwater around deep sea volcanic vents. They'd be sacred, comparatively cheap, and crazy powerful fire/water mages but they'd be aquatic and immobile. To round them out they'd be supported by their worshipers, sentient (but dumb) eel creatures (based on a real life pacific volcano known as "eel city" in which tons of eels hang out way deeper than they should be) that use their earth magic as an act of worship, to delve for new volcanic vents and allow new colonies of worms to establish themselves. Toss in a few deep sea creatures as summons and I think it'd be a pretty interesting nation. Shame I'm busy, haven't got the focus to mod, and haven't got the artistic ability to make sprites.
Ultimately I thought it'd be kind of awesome to make a nation that, once it'd solved the problem of surfacing, could just hose the battlefield down with acid and lava. Also I thought it'd be sort of nice to see an underwater nation that wasn't either an astral/water or nature/water combo, and didn't use the stereotypical "ice blast" powers in battle with their water mages.

Re: brainstorm
and what about a pirate's nation?
good light infatry and no heavy one;good pillager and create unrest in enemy dominions.
as hero ndokan, long john silver, cpt sparrow and cpt hook(only 1 hand slot, use his hook).
a national spell "yarr" that made you commander spawn pirate based on their xp,with a bonus if hof.
maybe a better version of ghost armada

Re: brainstorm
Marignon seems to be more closely with Spain than France. Inquisition bored in Spain and the inquisitor hero has a Spain name.

Re: brainstorm
Tyrian - I agree, although I think Marignon is named after somewhere in France.
