some newbie questions
1.: Which of these spells do fire damage and which don't? Astral fires, Hellfire, Bane fire, Magma eruption, Magma bolts
2.: How is fatigue calculated for multiple attacks and quickened attacks? ( I've run a test which seems to indicate that multiple attacks don't cause extra fatigue but quickened attacks do, is this correct? )
3.: I've read that communion slaves get a lot fatigue if their masters cast spells from paths the slaves don't know. Does anybody know the exact formula for this?
Thanks in advance

Re: some newbie questions
1. I'm not sure about the first two, but Banefire and the Magma spells are not fire damage. The only thing that can protect you is high Prot.
2. Your test is correct. This is the main problem IMHO with a W9 bless--you can fatigue out very quickly, with certain troop types.
3. The short answer is that fatigue is split between master/slaves BEFORE adjusting for path levels, but slaves also get the communion bonus to their paths for these purposes. If a spell is cast which requires D4 and 400 fatigue, and there are 4 slaves in the communion all with no Death paths, each slave and the master will take 80 fatigue, adjusted for path levels and drain (plus fatigue, for the master). With the +2 communion bonus for 4 slaves, each slave is D2 casting a D4 spell, and since they are 2 levels short they take triple fatigue damage or 240 fatigue (which I think means 40 fatigue gets converted to 4 HP damage). If you are N levels short you take (N+1) times fatigue, if you are N levels over you take 1/(N+1) times fatigue.

High protection helps against Magma, but nothing helps you resist Bane Fire.
You can negate one attack (Twist Fate), reduce the second one to 1 point of
damage (Mistform) and make 50% of attacks fail (Luck). But that is it.

Re: some newbie questions
Thanks for the answers so far, guys. It's especially good to know that slaves get the communion bonus to paths they don't know.

Yeah, it was me:
I just tested it. The old age effect has to beat MR. The main damage cannot be
resisted by any means.
