Trying to create an Army Art Bn

I am trying to create a US Army Hvy Art Battalion for the 2020 era. But when I go to select the unit for play, I get this message---"No units for this formation is available for this date!" I never encounter this msg when I'm creating other formations and other units in the US Army Orbat. So why can't I create a 203mm offmap Art Bty/Btn for the year 2020?

Check the availability dates of the units belonging to the formation you have created.

EDIT
My bet is that heavy artillery units cease to be available much before 2020 (as it happened in real life)
so the formation has nothing to pick.

Eureka!!!

I managed to get it working! I cloned the right art formation, and edited my copy. When I went to select my formations, no problem---I can now get heavy art battalions---along with the rocket battalions---in the year 2020---just in time for The Invasion of Iran!!!
