Switching items/gems between commanders
Hi,
I usually use scouts to carry gems around for my mages and after each battles I need to refill the mages to make up for the used up gems "in the field" (as opposed to in a lab). So I click on a scout, click on the gems and a window opens up to trade the gems (same for items).
Now here is my problem. For some reason, the trade is always between the scout and the very first commander present in the province (imagine there are 10 commanders). So I need to trade the gems from the scout to the first commander, end the trade, and then click on the mage I really want to give the gems to, and trade between the mage and the first commander.
It's a pain. Escpecially when the first commander in the list of the province is ... a mercenary, who will happily take the gems from the scout but then no way to make the mercenary give the gems away.
Is there a way around that ?

You can click on the commander in the trading screen to switch to a different one.

Reminds me of when I hired the 2D2B circle master merc (Gote?) to blood hunt for me, thinking it would be an easy way to get access to Blood. But then he wouldn't drop his slaves of course! Oops, bad idea.

Re: Switching items/gems between commanders
Actually, I just managed to get Gte relinguish his maidens. No, you can't remove his slaves or gems in the gem transfer window. Nor does the old Dom2 trick of clicking "pool gems" in F7 window work. But the latest micro-reducing command, highlighting commander and pressing 'Z' forces him also relinquish his slaves to lab. Oversight/bug probably.
Just too bad I can't get his death gems in similar fashion. Guess I'll just have to move him to front and tell him to summon Lammashtas.

Huh? What is "Z" supposed to do? I didn't see it on the progress page.

Re: Switching items/gems between commanders
Pools the selected commander's blood slaves to laboratory. Assuming they are in a lab province.
