Masters Mod 1.51 question
I'm getting a strange occurrence when I start a new game using this mod. My home system doesn't have a name. The star is just called "Star," and the planets are "I," "II," etc.
Has anybody else seen this?

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
Does it always do that, or only in one game? Maybe there is a blank line in the system name folder, and you got unlucky?

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
It only started doing that recently, i.e., within the last week.
I decided that I'd let my current Master Mod game go too long without being played, and decided to start a new one. Then the 'problem' occurred. So I started another new game. Same problem. I went to play another mod, and then a couple days later cam back to the Masters Mod to start yet another new game. Same problem.
Strange.

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
The systemnames.txt file in the Masters Mod folder looks fine. It consists of the stock system names. No odd characters.

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
Do other systems besides your home system have names?

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
You likely have more systems than names, which would cause this problem.

Re: Masters Mod 1.51 question
I think you're right. I just took a look at the SystemNames file and noticed that it has only 100 names. I've replaced it with one of the much larger name files in the Fryon Quadrant Mod.
I also found and downloaded version 1.7 of the Masters Mod.
Thanks guys!
