File format for mods
I've been considering making a mod editor for dominions, so I'm curious if the file-format for the mod files has changed for Dominions 3, or if it's essentially the same as for Dominions 2?

You mean you would like to make a gfx based editor, like the one for Civ 3? That would be neat.

Re: File format for mods
Well, essentially its the same format as it was in Dom2. There are new mod commands and some parameters have changed (nation numbers, some weapon numbers, etc.) but it's the same format you will be using as it was in Dom2.

Welcome back. That's very memorable avatar, and you did some great stuff. I don't remember what, though!
I think it was a random map generator, or some .map randomizer, or something else that Gandalf was very happy to have.

LEIF!
Im so glad to see you back!
I would love to see some updates of your work for Dom3
By the way, Im no modder (as you know) but there are some neat new commands for copying things in order to edit them, such as sprites. Should work in quite nicely for a GUI mod editor.
