Masters Mod: Emp files?
Can anyone tell me how to get the Masters Mod to load? I'm using the Mod Launcher, and for some reason it doesn't load. There don't appear to be any .emp files in the mod's folder. What am I missing about the mod?

Re: Masters Mod: Emp files?
Run it the regular way and see what errors come up?
The specific complaints by SE4 are important for finding the solution.

It's likely that the mod might not include any pre-made empire files with it...

Re: Masters Mod: Emp files?
When you're using the Mod Launcher, select the Masters Mod directory from the mod list and launch. Otherwise, you can change the file Path.txt to point to the Masters Mod directory.
There are no .emp files included with the mod. Those are for loading a pre-saved empires.

That's what I do. But then once I'm playing the game there's no evidence that I'm playing the Masters Mod. No unique technologies, etc. How do you know you're playing it? BTW, I'm on SE4 Deluxe.

OK. I'll play around with it a bit more. Thank you for the reply.

Re: Masters Mod: Emp files?
I figured it out now. Great mod!
Really, every time I discover a new mod I fall in love with SE4 all over again.
SE5 has some very big shoes to fill.

Re: Masters Mod: Emp files?
Cool. I'm glad you like the mod.
To those who haven't figured it out, you have to select a Masters advanced racial trait when you set up your empire to gain access to some of the unique technologies.
