How to use the Aethric Mirror?

At the moment using the demo so maybe it doesn't work in demo mode. None the less how do I get it to work? Thanks.

click it's "use" button, pick a system occupied by an alien flotilla and you switch places instantly

Thanks for the reply. Ordered the game, using the demo at present. To use mirror in demo I find I have to visit the planet for the mirror to work. Anyways a great game that is fun.

You need to know that the planet is occupied by an enemy fleet before it will work. There are a couple of fleets that you cannot mirror.

Having one of the detection devices will make the Mirror much more useful.
