I think having a jinx like Atrocities in such close proximity to something as explosive and volatile as a volcano is bad news. In order to safeguard the population aound the volcano, the US govt should relocate Atrocities to a luxury penthouse apartment in an exclusive area of the city and give him a few suitcases full of spending money for his trouble =-) The volcano will soon begin to calm down.

The city, however, can expect to be immediately terrorised by a skyscraper-sized rampaging radioactive sea lizard, which will stomp through the metropolis, knocking over buildings, eating power plants, battling power rangers and/or Rodan and swatting aside tanks and helicopters as it seeks to find Atrocities' motherboard and fry it during a crucial PBW turn. But hey, at least we'll have the volcano thing under control, and monster rampages are great for urban renewal.
