Possible problems from patch.
Earlier today I installed the new patch and started running the game. THe thing is, I suddenly started getting all these error Messages I had never gotten befor. I'm not totally sure if they were caused by the patch, but the problems didn't start happeing until after I installed the patch. They were mainly instances of misspelling or incorrect words in the game files, so I have been able to fix them.
Has anyone else had any problems after installing the patch?

Re: Possible problems from patch.
yeah, I posted this in another topic/post:
FYI, getting error Messages with MODPak 1.7 (exiting game). error are for design creation for the Tlaxcalan, and strategy (otimal range) for my own custom race.
I wonder if the .exe is using the path statement to go to the modpak directory as the Federation (ST) keep switching shipsets! first the Terran then Cue Cappa one...
and yes they do have a decent ST-based one in the race folder....

Actually, you've been 'getting' those errors all along, but the game was not reporting them. I see people are noticing this in many threads but not all seem to understand that the mistakes in the text files have been there all along. What has changed is that the latest update of the game has improved error reporting so you are actually informed of the problem. Before, it would just use some default and keep going so you never knew that the settings were wrong. Once all of these mistakes are fixed in the various mods they should work much better.

Oh. Ok then. Sorry if I scared anyone about the patch.
