Default Order of Magical Battles: Specials or Nationals?

Scenario: A and B are attacking a province held by C. A sends Ghost Riders, while B tries to Teleport a conventional(ish) army.
Both of these attacks would be resolved in the Magical Battles phase, but is the order:
A) Special Monsters (the GR) go first, vanish, and B's Teleport finds nothing to attack;
B) Nationals (B's Teleport) leads, succeeds or fails, followed by the Special Monsters attacking the province's new owners;
or C) Random?

C) Random: all rituals take place in a random order, and both Teleport and Ghost Riders are rituals. It also means you could shot down the mage casting Ghost Riders before the ritual was casted, if your attacking ritual takes place before the Ghost Riders one.

This brings up a curious point, actually. If you cast multiple remote summons at a province, those summons will all appear together in combat. But I have never considered the situation where a *third* empire might also be casting magical transport/remote summon onto the same province at the same time. Since it is common knowledge that magic rituals resolve randomly... Is there a possibility that you could cast two remote summons and have a battle in between your castings?

For example:
Empire 1 owns province A
Empire 2 casts CoWild at province A
Empire 2 casts CoWinds at province A
Empire 3 casts Imprint Souls at province A

Is it possible for the resolution to fall out like this?
Empire 2's CoWild defeats the PD and captures the prov
Empire 3's Imprint Souls takes effect and say somehow the madmen win
Empire 2's CoW kicks in resulting in a third battle??

I thought that battles are only resolved after the sides have been set up, i.e. ordinary battles take place after all movement has been calculated and 'battles triggered by magic' take place only after all rituals have been cast and evaluated (I think except assassinations like ashen angel, which I think are evaluated on the spot). So all critters from one side should fight together in one magical battle...

But how about neutral critters like GhostRider being sent from different sides? Do they fight together against whatever else is there?
