issue resolved
I have no idea what may have happened here or if they're even bugs. I'm presuming they are but am wondering if anyone's seen them before.
These both happened in the TentoTango Mosehansen game Last turn.
1) Disappearing Prophet --
My Horror Marked Starspawn Prophet finally got attacked by a Lesser Horror. He was carrying a Bottle of Living Water and the Elemental he had with him cleaned up the Horror in two rounds. He had just gotten out of an earlier battle against a set of Pale Riders, which he survived as well. However, when I go to his province to find him, he's gone. I check for him across the world with F1. Nope, still gone. I have no idea what happened to him, but I'm sure he never died. Ideas?
2) Disappearing flags -- I got done watching my battle replays and went to my map, only to find that all my flags are gone. For all nations. I only get the white pixels. Needless to say, it's getting in the way of my taking my turn. Not quite as much fun when you're clicking everywhere to take stock of who your neighbors are (or what you still own, for that matter.) Army rectangles are still there, as is just about everything else. No other graphical glitches. All mods off.
Ideas?

Strong enemy dominions will kill your prophet / pretender if you leave him there for a couple of rounds. Happend to me twice.

Re: issue resolved
This definitely wasn't enemy dominion. It was all of one square away from my capital. Probably a 4 or a 5, if memory serves.

Re: issue resolved
the flags have a button to turn them on and off. Dont remember which one. Maybe you hit it.
It should be able to turn back on in the "options"?

Re: issue resolved
*sigh* Thanks Gandalf. Yes, I found out that I turned it off somehow. I could've sworn I never went into the Map Filters screen. Is there a hotkey for that, I wonder...
And I figured out what happened to the Prophet. He ended up running off to a nearby province as ordered. I thought he'd disappeared because his troops were still there, but, as it turns out, I'd assigned the troops to another commander who'd gotten killed in the Pale Riders incident so the Prophet left all by himself. Good times. Must... remember... to concentrate when reading the "Back ... Front" army display. ;-)

Re: issue resolved
ad 2) disappearing flags
.. hit the "1" key again...
ad 1) disappearing prophet
Enemy dominion does not kill Pretenders and Prophets - it's the other way 'round. They may be reduced to very low hitpoints, though, as the reduction is a %tage, and might die easily to a myriad of things.
Are you shure that your prophet wasn't hit by something like decay or desease at some point?
