Default Questions about save files

Hi,

I'm working on a tool for saving pretender files and turn files and I was wondering if there was any info that can be pulled out of the .2h or .trn files. It'd be nice if I could get the pretender name and turn number, for instance.

Also, is the ftherlnd file updated each turn?

Thanks.

Just FYI, there is already a very nice Java-based tool, written by Torvak, for saving turns and pretenders, that is available on my web site. You might want to check it out ...

Thanks, I'm almost finished though, and part of my motivation for doing this was just so I could mess around with writing a little app. So yeah, I realize that other people have done similar things.
