Default SEIV movement question

Is there anyway to make like a hyper drive system that would work like a warp point only allowing certain ships to travel in those directions. While the ships are in travel they would be unavailible for as many turns as their hyper drive speed made it?

Thanks,

Sabrex

No. That would require a major hardcode change.

I thought that. Is there any formal way to go about requesting a feature like it or has that already been done and the idea thrown out?

Well, you can e-mail suggestions to [email protected] , but Aaron has officially started working on Space Empires V. Changes to SE IV at this point have almost no chance of happening. Still, he might consider adding it to SE V, so there's no harm in asking.

You really should come to the SEIV Forum and post your questions there. They will be answered far faster and in much more detail than in here.
