Wouldn't it be SO cool to have a Space Empires mod?

That's right, all you guys who roleplay your SE4 empires... it would probably be possible to mod something resembling the Space Empires universe to roleplay in! Replace Fighters with Soldiers, Thieves with Spies, Druids with Scientists, Mages with Telepaths, Priests with Diplomats... replace Bows with Anti-Proton Pistols, crossbows with Polaron Rifles, health potions with medpacks... replace Orcs with Jraenar, Goblins with Fazrah, etc. etc. etc.

If I do decide to buy Dungeon Odyssey this is something I'll seriously consider doing - the only problem is will it ever be playable? let's see, the Xeo mod for SE4, the MOO2 mod for SE4, several Sonic and Megaman fanfics I've never finished...

Hahahahahahah, perfect. Plague-ridden cities, hordes of XiChung soliders swarming the border towns slaughtering people wholesale with null-space rifles, and even some areas still undergoing terraformation. There is a lot of different ways you could go with it. This sounds like a really cool idea, with endless things to work with.
