Best Non-TDM AI's?

I know this question has probably been asked before, but what are some good AI's not found in the TDM pack (IOW, AI's with 'independent' shipsets)? Thanks.

Well, Tessellate by MB is not a TDM AI, but it's very good.

Edit: Someone said that AIs from Trek_Bab5 mod are quite competitive also. Haven't tried it yet.

Actually i think the Tesselate have been added to the TDM Modpack now

But they're still tough
