#se4 Guest Speaker 4
This Wednesday (tomorrow, the 20th), rain or shine, we will have special Guest Speaker Kwok in the IRC channel #se4 at 5 PM PST, 8 PM EST, 1 AM GMT. He will share a bit more information about creating new ships for Star Fury and the things you'll need to keep in mind for them to work well in the game. Nothing too indepth, but enough to give you a head start! Don't miss it!

Yes, I've gotten permission from Aaron to cover most aspects of the ship designing process including a couple tips for the data files! But don't be asking me about unmentioned features of the game though, can't cover that!

Re: #se4 Guest Speaker 4
Capt, any chance Aaron could make one of the Ship Models from Starfury available for us to import into our Modeling programs? I'd like to try comparing it against some of my existing models.

I don't think so. But I have looked at many of the models and could look at yours if needed to give advice...

Re: #se4 Guest Speaker 4
You think he'd object to you making a 3d model of a brick? That just happened to be the same length as the average, say, Cruiser.

It doesn't matter really for size, the ship can be adjusted to appear any size that you want for the game through the data files.
