I'd like to point out something:
US took
50,000~ deaths over 3 years in Korea
58,000~ deaths over the eight years or so of Vietnam
Soviets took about 15,000 over 9 years in Afghanistan
Putin's Russia has speed run their way to Vietnam/Korea level deaths in about six or seven months.
