Initial progress hindered by snow and dense, wooded terrain. This is proving unsuitable terrain for armoured warfare.

Heavy British bombardments observed north and south of current positions. Objectives within half a kilometer. Forces to split, attacking the central and southern objective zones simultaneously.
First British armour spotted. Limited long range fire exchanged with no conclusive effects.
