Well, he probably would have been tough, but he wasn't expecting me to attack him. We were allied, and after crushing Ulm wanted to have a fair two vs. two on you. But then I realized how I had been "betrayed" from his side, and decided to turn the tide before it's too late.
That's why I was able to take at least one fourth of his provinces without any resistance, taking away much of his income.
His Horrors are effective raiders, for sure, but I guess that we are building up, while he's chewing up all his ressources. It's just that his fortresses take so long to take over
Nah, no matter if we would have won if he was around - it would just have been much more fun to fight a human. The clever AI scripting makes a D4B3 heliophagus much less impressive....
