Well especially if you know the old D&D Aboleths..... They have these sacs in their heads, and when they kill powerful/wise/knowledgeable beings..... They remove the brains, and push them up in these sacs, absorbing the mind of their prey.
It's pretty hideous.
There should be a contest for "most evil" though, cause I think Lanka, R'lyeh, Ermor, and Hinnom would like to compete for the title.
