Ry'leh, a strong Scales Bug Contender, or any ocean nation, is immune to Cold Scales

Machaka, also a scales bug contender, has preferred temperature of Heat +2

For what races have YOU experienced the Scales Bug?

Also, did you have Heat-3 or Cold-3?
