Sorry to here your loss Atrocities, i know exactly what you mean. I'm almost 17 and i had a cat called Sammy for 12 years of my life. It was around Last year it died in the night of old age. I'm no stranger to losing pets but this was like losing a life companion. People say dogs are mans best friend but i personally think cats should be. It's so easy to get attached to a cat and if you treat them right they'll treat you with love, affection and the occasional crap behind the pc on the power lines
I'd pick a cat over any pet, any day.
On good news my family purchased 2 kittens a week or two ago (which to my distaste got called sooty and sweep, thats what having sisters will do to naming pets) And i admit that old feeling of attachments coming back to one of them, the others just....evil!
I guess the best way to deal with the loss of a pet is do something that you'll remember on the day. Atrocities, you could start a feline based shipset with the race leader named Alvan and use the piucture below as race portrait.
