Thanks Edi. You have once again done the best you could with the mess you got handed, and you don't have to worry about your popularity taking a hit in my book, I think we all know the **** has...

Fatigue shouldn't cause you to go off-script, if that's what you mean by "afford." Though of course if you pass out it'll take a while to get to your next command.

Re: "Random Events" Game Setting
Common is the default MP setting since people already favor misfortune, so why exacerbate that? SP is SP, do what you want.

Re: immortal gods
It's not really a question of "how long" for affliction recovery since it's not a static number.
If I recall properly there is a priority order for afflictions, and each has a certain percentage...

Yeah, they are generally worthless unless you're willing to spam 100+ of them, which I was actually doing in one game while gem-gens were still a thing, although my opponents ended up conceding...

Re: Fortresses and garrisons in water provinces
I'm still wearing my humility hat after making an egregious factual error on the other forums, and I don't have the game installed to check the spells, so feel free to check!
I tried to make the...

Re: Fortresses and garrisons in water provinces
3RS I am almost certain does not work, and I am less certain but still pretty sure that the Earth spell that makes a fort also doesn't work in the water.
Good point about the forts being less...

Re: Fortresses and garrisons in water provinces
Most land nations cannot purchase PD or construct forts in the water, but there are a couple of options for getting one. The cheap but unreliable method is searching for N sites, as one of the magic...

Re: Some spell buff questions....
It's rarely useful, but the self-cast 100% resistance spells WILL stack with the various 50% resistance buffs IIRC, though I also vaguely recall that getting the AI to cast them both is a bit of a...

The alchemy cost that you claim didn't exist in vanilla is built into the basic game economy. One pearl = 2 gems once you unlock wish, which was fairly trivial with clams. Alchemy provides the same...

Re: Spells that arguably break the game
Dispel is bad for a number of reasons.
First: You either guess high and waste gems, or guess low and waste gems and do nothing to the global. Overwriting is always a stronger play in terms of gem...

Singling out astral magic is incredibly misleading. Astral is only weaker inasmuch as all of the non-blood magic in the game is weaker. Due to alchemy and wish mechanics the removal of clams DOES NOT...
