Good idea Gandalf. That way you wouldn't have to do anything to keep saves from the last three turns (or more if you wanted to set up more directories and add additional lines to the batch file). ...

Kristoffer register me as a vote for a save game feature. Perhaps you could also have an ironman mode for those that don't want it and don't have the willpower to not use it if it is available. ...

How about Talis (39 land), Ormis (32 land 11 sea), or US (48 land)? Or you could use the random map generator.

For a very small map (19 provinces, all land) try "A Question of Symmetry". It is available at http://www.illwinter.com/dom2/maps.html

Downloaded & was enjoying until I had the same problem. Running Win98SE, 2.4G Pentium 4, 512M Ram, NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4400.

Others have reported the same problem on the Gone Gold site. So far...
