Firstly I would argue that the numeric keys on the side of the keyboard would be suitable for movement, hex at a time.
Plus there is a key i think that allows for the player to select another...

Yes well my way around this is to increase the propulsion technology in terms of armor and tonnage etc (to make it worth getting but also take more space) hence its difference will be recognised less...
