There is no intelligence or military or random event notice when this happens. No ships are teleported. I am not sure about supply drains or the like.

Yet another question... How exactly is the final maintenence value of a vessel determined? Say with the original maintenance set at 50, a 1K resource cost base (-50% maintenance bonus) of a race...

An idea for you would be to make a small mod if you were to do a single player game, though it would have to be acceptable + incorporated into a PBW game... You could make a small racial tech tree...
