It seems even in 1.67 Gold if you try to refit ships you often get told you can't because they are not the same size when they are. Very annoying! Does anyone know why this happens and if there is a...

If I turn on my fleet minister will it just allow me to perform functions like "merge fleet" or will it start moving my fleets on its own. If the latter, it is not worth it!

Seeing all at the end of game?

If all players agree is there any way to easily "freeze the game" and make everything your Empire is up to viewable by everyone? I suppose everyone could agree to enter partnerships with everyone...

In answer to "construct" I mean in "strategic movement" not during combat turns. And I wouldn't want to pause an entire turn - just one or more "movement points" so ships from different locations...

PvK's suggestion didn't work for me, annoyingly. Shrapnel should patch its patch so that Users don't have to jump through all those hoops to get existing games working again!

Energy pulse vs Energy stream weapons

Which do you choose and why? I like the fact pulse weapons take 50% less space and don't degrade damage with range, but they are much more costly to develop...

Of course one must always be prepared to adapt research plans and ship designs to circumstances but shouldn't it be possible to load one's normal ship designs somehow? (or is it already possible?)...

SE IV Gold tech tree document

James Sterrett wrote a SE IV tech tree description in a big Word document but I have noticed in gold that a lot of things have changed. Is he or someone else working on an updated document?
