First contact: Interesting savegame/ scenario
 

OK, I've been playing this proportions game for nearly 300 turns now, and I've finally made first contact. I started with "not all warp points connected" and it has taken me this long to develop the necessary stellar manipulation, the economy to finance it and finally break into a system with another race in there.

I haven't even seen what they're like, but I'm hoping they will have a far more military economy/ research and be able to give me a serious run for my money.

Anyway, here is the zipped savegame for anyone interested. You'll need Gold, 1.78, proportions >=2.4 and the rage and colonial shipsets installed. Probably some more shipsets too but I haven't met them yet.
