Main menu combat scenes

How many of y'all couldn't live without having the ships fighting it out on the main screen? I'm thinking (only a little bit seriously; it isn't anywhere near guaranteed to happen yet) about getting rid of them and seeing if I can get something else in.

It would have to be worth it. The regular chaotic fighting on the main screen is pretty fun, something as humorous or entertaining would have to take its place.

interesting idea. sounds insane though, considering how hard regular modding can be.
