Custom Description
 

Hi everybody

Just a simple question.


Characters like officers have a general description and heros have one for themselves.

Is there any way or any kind of save game editor able to change some description for only one officer. Just for the fun or some sort of even role playing :rolleyes:

It's possible, but this can only be done using the modding tools. Also it would change the descriptions for all units of this type.... so you'd need to create a unique unit. Check out the modding pdf file in the DOCS directory.

So the quick answer is no, you can't give a specific description to a single commander, but you can give a specific description to a TYPE of commander (that is, all independent mounted commanders or animists or such)

You can rename the commander. I often use that to add color, or give a special title. Or just to keep notes on what I wanted a specific commander to do since I have a crappy memory and my games tend to be really large.

That does require that that renaming be turned on when the game was started. It defaults to NO unless you have changed the defaults.
