New Map: Curiosities

2 Attachment(s)
Hi. Time for another map.
I heard the people, who were all "MY MIND IS BEING BLOWN! I WANT ACTUAL LAND AND BORDERS! HOW CAN I PLAY WITHOUT BORDERS!"

I guess I'm in the field of granting wishes.

Another small map for 4 player - blitz games or single player - The war is over city states, powerful and protected central areas. There are 2 sea 'horrors' that can only be accessed by troops who can traverse ocean territories. Magic sites will be abundant on the sea 'horrors'. All the landmasses are connected to each other *over* the water which can be avoided very easily.

35 Land + 9 Sea

Well, in a game of wars and magic, where you actually want to control provices you actually want borders for a practical reason.

But maybe if I play a Mindless, Blind, with distorted perception pretender, for sake of roleplay, I will need not borders... nor i will need interface or graphics of units i buy. Even gold and resources are not needed. A game, why the hell need I a game ???

Anyway, this map is a least 'playable', even if i hoped for better resolutiion...

What, I do criticise ? Yes, like all artist, you must be ready for critics, don't you ? :D

The other two are playable with neighbors turned on. You might try them, the nations are all in areas with natural borders (spaces surrounded by lines).

I tried it, really, and played 3 years, but well, with no sarcasm this time, i do not find interest. You probably tried to create situations between territories, but the overall package, the look, just don't apply to me. Of course I'm certainly not evrybody, and as I'm not contribuating to maps (tried but I lack creativity) i'll not be hard on your creations. But it's just... to odd IMO...for dominions.

It's just like looking an author film, most people never will look at them, finding them boring, and that not signify that it's a good film anyway...

What I find sad with this map is there are too many infos not related to the game. That is exactly what turned me off playing Faerun. But your map is very nice, would be fine on my wall.
