Help on game crashing
 

Hello,

I have Windows XP, Pentium 4, 2.78 Gig Hard drive, 1 MB Ram...SPWW2 crashes afer 60 minutes of play, and I must re-start computer to start play again. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Are you playing a particular scenario at this point, or just any game crashes at this time?.

If it is time-related I would tend to suspect some sort of timed programme going off in the background, especially any that are timed to go off hourly. Such as an attempt to connect to the net, or offices scan utility (forget the name) if you have Microsoft office installed, or the XP windows catalogue thing for "fast searching" that I tracked down and killed, since it slugs any program you are running when it goes off and scans your drive to aadd new files to its database.

Thanks andy.. That gives me a starting point. The crash happens regardless of whatscenario/battle/campaign I'm playing within this particular game. I notice it will also crash even thouh I have turend the game off an start playing agin...right aobut one hour afte rI originally started!
