Hi,
What does "increases magic" mean? Are there any other weird sites on this map?

'Magic' as magic scale. It is positive, or less negative, in that province. Could make a good place to research in.

ok.. but to what level the increase? And does it spread? Let's say my dominion is MAgic Drain will it adjust?

probably 1.
no.

it is a modifier on top of whatever scales are there. Eventually, say if you have Drain 2 and you have a positive dominion in the province, then eventually that province will become Drain 1 (Drain 2 - 1 for the site), making it the best place to research in your empire.

Thing is I have the map.. I read the readme and some magic sites are not explained or do not seem obvious... I thought maybe there was a better description somewhere?

Get the sites.xls from Sunraybe or Arryn's websites. It helps to understand exactly what a given site does.

It increases the magic scale in the province over time. You will need a strong dominion with a drain scale to avoid having positive magic in that province, and if your dominion is positive magic, it will become even stronger in this province (up to +3). In other words, an ideal place to research.

Yes. Every nation has a decent supply of magical sites in the initial setup, some of them more weird than others, but all of them powerful. That's the whole point of the map. Now, if only the AI was smart enough to continously send casters into buildings that produce units.. *sigh*
