Compliments and a quick bug report

Derek,

Two quick things. First, you've done a great job with this game. It is a bLast. Very quick to start and very engaging.

Now, to the bug (presumably) I found. When you finish a match and you press the "Exit Arena" button, you get the sim results window. If after you press the "click to sim rest of matches" button, while it is calculating the results of the other fights, you also click on the "Exit Arena" button again (still present but meant to be with the partially obscured lower window), the computer then also calculates the next days battles without your match present. Furthermore, you aren't even allowed to fight that day. In effect, you are skipped for the next days battles and you lose a day. Probably not what you had in mind (and hey why would anyone click that button randomly...hehe), unless this is an undocumented way to rest your warriors.

Thank you, Jay! I appreciate the compliments.

To your "bug": yes, it is one. It has already been fixed for the patch. For now, just don't press the Exit Arena button during simming. It will return to the managing interface by itself.

Re: Compliments and a quick bug report

I think I may have found a bug - not sure if anyone has mentioned it.

I had a miscreant gladiator suspended for eight days for stalking and since I wasn't satisfied with his training progress as he was aging, and both of my other gladiators were injured (talk about a bad luck season!), I released him.

He was in the third slot, but I presume that doesn't make any difference as far as fixing ... the bug: the warrior I signed from the pool is still suspended as if HE were the weakling jerk that had been busted originally. I mean sure, perhaps they both got liquored up and threatened another fellow, but I don't see why a new hire should have the same penalty! I wouldn't have bothered to hire a new guy if I'd known that he'd be suspended for so long as well.

Yes this was a bug...it's already been fixed for the 1.5 patch.

Thanks, tromper!
