Icons
 
Are Demons of heavenly rivers/fires banishable (as demons)? They lack the demon icon. Or are they not really demons?

Do you think it would be possible to add icons for "emits X", such as "emits noxious fumes" (hydras, bog beasts, etc.) or "spreads disease cloud (or whatever)" (Old Guy With Iron Crutch)?

They are mean spirited, ugly bastards, but they cannot be banished.

Edit: Yes, it's possible. What else is missing.

Causes Disease (Not just the Leprosy Cloud) could use an Icon.

Assassin/Seduce wouldn't hurt with an Icon.

Summon Ally wouldn't hurt with an Icon.

Storm Bonus wouldn't hurt with an Icon.

Uses XX Extra Supply (Perhaps a Fat Man, or a knife and fork) could use an Icon.

Reduces/Increases Dominion wouldn't hurt with an Icon.

Difference between Sorcery and Elemental and Pure Random wouldn't hurt as an Icon.

Gets X Gem/turn wouldn't hurt as an Icon.

Those are just off the top of my head.

Small gem icons above the gem-box to show the minimal gem cost of the currently scripted spells [counting both gems that form part of spell costs, and the minimum needed gems to cast the spells if the current magic paths are not sufficient]... Ok, that is strictly speaking not an ability/icon. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

If we get many more icons, people may start asking for an options screen that lets them turn off some of the icons they don't want to see.

Well after cleaning out the cobwebs and finding part of a bad acid flashback, a Shaft poster and #3 Speller ribbon I have come up with a few more.

Spikey Poison Armor (From Coral Armor, Spine Demon etc)
Temporarily for Hire (Gladiator)
Communion Slave (Theurg Communicant + anyone who casts the spell)
Communion Master (Yeah!)
Spying (Improved Scouting)
Healing (Heal Troops)
Faithful Mount (Mount fights when unit dead)
Shapechanger (Yay)
Holy Avenger (Paladin Holy Pyre on Undead, unless this is a weapon thing)
Magical Quickness (Not HoF or Blessing Quickness)
Reinvigoration (So newbies will know what it is)
Water Breathing (And for how many units)
Strengthened Armor (From Legions of Steel)
Blood Lust (as spell)

These are just a few off the bottom of my head, dismiss if they are already out there or thought of.

Edit: Also I'll include a petition to change the "Castle Defense Bonus". It looks all funny and wierd. I know you are using the Hammer for the Forge Bonus, but maybe you could do something with it. The little castle makes Zenboy go crazy!

Excellent.

Zen, why does the castle thingy make you go crazy?

The only other one I can think of is "can instill uprising".

EDIT: Kristoffer: does that mean that the blood spell /forget name/ which increases the ability of demons will not work for DohR/DohF because that spell only works for *infernal* demons with the appropriate icon?
EDIT: what about "This unit is currently routing" (icon: frightened face, or rearview of person running)?

Blood Lust only works for Demon icon'd demons. Not the Heavenly River or Heavenly Fire demons.

The "Spying" Icon would entail the "Instill Uprising".

I'd like to know if a unit or hero is ambidextrous. Especially if a hero, I could equip with two swords of quickness;)

There are a couple others that I've noticed and haven't been mentioned... hopefully I'll come across them soon.
