How to find stuff.

Okay so Abysia can summon a Zemy, great stuff.

But where or how do I go about finding out exactly what each nation can do in terms of national summons etc. I have checked wiki, its way outta date and there is no mention for example there of a Zemy for Abysia.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Try this. Not completely up to date, only up to cbm 1.84, but still very useful. Select your nation, click national only and away you go.

When you click on a spell of that database its error 404 not found
Edit: i wanted to open in a new tab. It works with leftclick in the same tab

Summon Zmey isn't a national spell so of course it's not gonna be listed as one for abysia. It's also a cbm spell, so the wiki won't mention it.

Thanks tratorix, I did have that already.

My main issue , is there an easy way to see what each nation can cast as a national spell?

What exactly do you think national spell means? The spell database I linked has an option to show the national spells that are unique to a certain nation.

The wiki isn't out of date. At least the one in my signature isn't. The google search one is. Strategywiki sucks.

But the wiki is vanilla. Not CBM mod. That isn't going to change. Maintaining the wiki is a big job. And there is little help. So, maintaining a secondary CBM wiki isn't going to happen (And then, which version cbm etc).

95% of all national spells are on the wiki (CBM only adds a lot of end game diversity spells). Also national spells are blue in the research interface. Normal colored spells are available to everybody.

From irc:
<Trumanator> plz post to that HoleyDooley guy that the easiest way to find the national spells for a given nation is to have a test game for each age that includes all the nations in that era. Then you can both see their recruitment rosters and look through their research trees for the blue text that indicates national spells.

Re: How to find stuff.

One thing, the wiki could really use a End game diversity mod page. Just a general list of the new units. If anybody would like to do that, be my guest. (Well, actually, be Lch's guest, it is his wiki :D).

LOL...Sorry I just got around to looking at this a bit closer and realised the pull down menu for "national spells" and came here to post my thanks.

Thus thanks muchly, wish I had noticed this 10 weeks back when I started playing the game.

Cheers.

Oh, and my thanks for the contributions to help me understand this game.

I have convinced about 6 friends to buy this game as well, its a bloody beauty.

To Soyweiser, I am sure its a big job keeping your wiki up to date. Thanks for the effort, much appreciated.

Cheers,

Dooley
