I would love to give Skaven another run - have time issues right at the moment - but with any luck the project I have on my plate at the moment will be finished in a week.

So sign me up as Skaven and another vote for Asia twist.

Only 3 more to go.

But we need at least one more water nation, or rlyeh will have a rather easy game.

Where are we with getting this game started?

Maybe we should cajole R'yleh into picking a different nation ;)

If you can't find anyone else to play a water nation, I don't mind sitting this one out. I've just never played MA R'lyeh, so I wanted to give them a try. I agree it's totally unbalanced to have a game on these two maps without any opposition in the water.

What is the stance on NAP's in this game?

I'm going to play in another MP game on these forums, and I saw on the first post a rule about NAP's being public and binding. I found that idea interesting, and one of the reasons I signed up for that game. I come from a gaming group where agreemements are held as long as they are beneficial to each other, and it is somehow viewed honorary to inform when an agreement is about to end. But sometimes you don't notice the pact has ended until your lands are swamped by hostile troops, your commanders are assassinated and there is a vicious rain of frogs outside when peeking through the window; it is a game after all, and sometimes fluid situations require fluid reactions.

A game where NAPs would be binding thus felt to me as a curious idea to test, once :) However, I've since figured out many people on this forum regard NAP's as sacred and holy, ie to many NAP's are *always* to be followed, even to death if so required. Notice, I usually stick to agreements I make (wich is why I don't usually make many such agreements, because I'd feel lousy about myself if I'd have to break an agreement), but that is personal stance; ie doesn't rigid NAP's remove the element of suprise from games, and doesn't such a policy make for quite stale game-atmosphere?

I wonder what the stance to NAP's is in this Lapis game? Are they something agreed between honorary people (who maybe not are just *that* honorable in *this* spesific game or time) or are they they always binding under all circumstances? Also, are NAP's supposed to be public?

NAPs are, by default, non-binding.

Ha, but I reckon half the forum think the opposite!

Won't they feel salty when the stealth armies I've been peppering throughout their lands capture half of their provinces in one turn? :O

Thanks, that was the answer I was hoping for :) While I'd feel crappy about backstabbing somebody else, I do think no forced rules add quite a nice suprise element to the game (at least I am suprised each and everytime I am backstabbed :hurt: :D ).
