Re: Game started
Check your spam folder please. Hotmail is known to block the turn notifications as spam. Whitelist the sending address or whatever is needed to stop it from doing so, and tell the others how you did it - there are some other Hotmail users.

Re: Game started
Hum, if this was the problem, I think that I wouldn't have received the mails about Rhoscrowther... and I did receive the mails about "primea has started". Furthermore my spam folder is empty.
I'll force a "whilelist" anyway to see if it helps.
As for how to do that :
- start msn.
- open your webmail screen.
- click on the "option" button on the top right.
- There is a list of options, the one you want should sound like "senders blocked and authorized" in the spam category.
- click on somthing that sounds like "authorized sender"
- enter the mail adress Ich gave you in the list.
And it's done.
The name will probably be quite different from the ones I gave since my the version of hotmail I use is "hotmail classic" (I don't have the "live" account) and in French. Therefore the "sounds like".

Arco Woes...
The Astrologer sighed...after several months without any indications of misfortune he had joined the army to help eradicate an Undead infestation. It was while he was gone that the Hurricane struck.
Now came the reports of the arrival of some hideous Sea Beast off the Arco coast. While sure that the local militia would soon see it off, he was beginning to think that he would need to go back to the Lab soon and recheck the stars. All needed to be well for the Awakening of his Goddess, but so far his tenure as Prophet was off to a very shaky start.
He reread the report from the capital:
"...yesterday, devouring several fisherman. It is Hideous and the Smell alone has caused the locals to abandon the waterfront. We have called out the Militia since we are very sure that it is not house broken..."

Re: Arco Woes...
Well... the mail for turn four arrived. It might have been a problem from hotmail then.

Re: Arco Woes...
"This was the start of another boring day for Rhea. Since the rise of the king of plants and trees, she had been assigned to do some boring research. Soon other of her kind joined, but it didn't make it any easier. Interesting results came every few month, but nothing as great as the ancient tales.
No wars either, except news from afar, about the mighty Machaon and his war against barbarians and more barbarians. The territory they held didn't even have any value, it was just senseless massacre. They were just at the bad place at the bad time. Too bad for them. Rhea felt a bit sorry for them, but after all, the taste of the lord for women was well known throughout the lands, even if the half crazed women looked more attracted to him than he was to them.
But that day, that very boring day, everything changed. Rhea was called at the royal court. A magnificent place, the falling leaves of autumn giving it a golden beauty, unmatched in that part of the lands. The gossip of the royal court, the fearful face of the of the royal court women, and the crazy look in the centaur's eyes could only mean that something grave had happened.
Upon arrival, she was told the truth. She was to deliver a message to some barbarian in the North. Except those were not only barbarian, they pretended that there was another God !
Against her heart, she did as she was bidden, went to speak to the representative of this force that numbered hundreds and called itself Vanheim.
- We have no desire for war. Yet you trespass dangerously near to our lands. Should you not decide to move away, we will retaliate. Trydmire and Farseer mountains will be ours. Leave peacefully or face the consequences.
As she came back, tears flowed to Rhea's eyes. She didn't want war. But there was only one God. And around them, centaurs and minotaurs were getting ready to use the only way they knew to ensure that the King of plants and trees would be the only one left. Now, she could only hope that other ways would prevail."

The Marignon-Eriu War
The events described hereon are from the third, fourth, and fifth months of the pretender wars. As we are currently in a state of conflict, discussing the present state of affairs in such a way that enemy spies may read it would be imprudent.
Father Alverne was returning to Marignon City from campaign on the northern marches when the report came in. Originally a mere friar in the Holy Church, he took no small amount of pride in the fact that he was personally chosen by Flonne -- the Pillar that is Purity, &c., &c., Love Freak and Angel Trainee -- to lead the army and to serve as her personal prophet.
"The fir bolgs, sir! They are marching into Duvan!" the messenger announced.
A month prior, scouts on the Duvanian frontier had reported the fir bolg army camped on the plains of Jerib. Alverne had done nothing about it -- he had lost many troops securing Duvan and had to return to Marignon for reinforcements. Besides, he knew that Flonne, the Pillar that is Purity, &c., &c., Love Freak and Angel Trainee would never approve of wanton aggression, even though the fir bolgs, as the rumours had it, worshipped some foul death god.
But now the fir bolgs were approaching Marignon itself. Would they attempt siege of the great city? Continue their pillage of the northern provinces? Neither were acceptable, Alverne knew. He would have to attempt an attack.
Alverne looked sorrowfully over the army. It was a fine army in many ways. Dozens of crossbowmen, and even two knights of the royal guard. But the front line? Four pikes. "It'll have to do," thought Alverne.
"It didn't," Alverne murmured to himself days later as he laid dying on the fields of Duvan. "God save us all."
And as he drew his last breath, his prayer was answered. Before the walls of Marignon City approached thirty soldiers, led by a mercenary hero brandishing a sword aglow with enchanted fire. "I am Dante, sirs," the leader shouted to the gates, "and should you will it we shall serve you."

I have Dom3 on my PC so I hope I will be able to carry on making my turns. Hopefully I should be able to log in over the network, but I won't know until I try. I will also be able to comunicate with people - but only by pm via this site.
I will only have a couple of short windows to play the game each day.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
