In Finnish: Asterix, Obelix, Idefix, chief Aladobix, druid Akvavitix. It seems to be pretty well-known in Europe.
Now that this matter has been solved can we go back to deciding what you lot want? Because if the only thing you are interested in is Asterix, I could just start a mod that made Marverni's sacred tribe's soldiers' Strength a bit higher and gave them even more Berserk, and ability to throw one boulder per battle.

Re: Screenies!
In the british english (as opposed to american english - i guess there are both) version it's:
druid: getafix
chief: vitalstatistix
fishmonger: unhygenix
blacksmith: fulliautomatix
and the dog (best of all): dogmatix

Re: Screenies!
Well, Endo...
I'm adding some of the sprites cut from your screenshots to the Wiki, just as a way of illustrating the individual nation strategy sections. Hopefully I can get a unique and cool sprite for each, but I'm missing some for specific nations:
http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Dominio...kening/Nations
Bandar-Log
Machaka
Midgard
Oceania
Pangaea
Patala
Pythium (non-Sauromatia)
Utgard
Vanheim

Re: Screenies!
Count me in as an American familiar with Asterix (although I've never gotten around to seeing the live-action movie which was made a few years back).
Although I may not completely count as my father's a Spanish immigrant and discovered the books while growing up over there. ;-)

One of the major interests in the Asterix series is this - character names.
Gauls have "-ix" names, Romans have "-us" names, and so on. Over the whole of the series, Asterix and friends visit most of Europe, so you get to see what the French stereotypes for most Europeans are like, together with silly names for everybody. Extremely recommended if you can read French, and mostly if you cannot and the translators were any good.

Re: Screenies!
Hm...maybe it is just me, but I never liked Asterix that much, I just don't find it funny enough.
If we talk about cartoons, I only watched South Park in the last 2 years, but very rarely. [I think that I've seen like 30-35 episodes only]
Oh! And Shrek. .. but just because my girlfriend wanted to see it.

Re: Screenies!
I can't believe people are more excited about Asterix than articles.
Though Asterix starts with A and every post with "Asterix" in it should count as a vote for Articles.
