You shouldn't say things like that out loud, what if the emperor hears about it? The poor, corrupt minister could be sentenced to death and then who would you do business with.

With the next one, of course! On the other hand, I surely do not insist that the answer be made in public, even though bribing officials was a time-honored tradition in China (they didn't get state payment for their work as such) and so Emperor would probably be lenient in this respect - especially if it works out good enough for his Empire..

I'd just like to point out that man has staled for the third time now. I'm currently taking over his territory, and I really shouldn't be able to honestly. Is it possible to get a sub for man?

I didn't take turns in any games last week due to various problems, I thought I was back on top of them but this one slipped. Anyway, I'll make an effort to get the turn in this time.

The ministry was utterly corrupt and several ministers have been executed. Jo-Ang Kai-Song (also known as JK) was swiftly put to death. The emperor is pleased. All is well in the empire. There are no dissidents. Everyone is glad to pay their taxes. All hail the Emperor!

Agreed, many nations are playing this pretty quietly as if it were any other MP game. Lets get some chronicles going - at least more than one update every 20 turns por favor!
