Question how many turns ? (ez newb query)

How does one determine the number of turns available in a given game/scenario?
At the bottom of the map window I can see the # of the turn we're on. But not how many turns are remaining.

SO I read the tutorial descrip and it doesn't mention # of turns.
I only see "10 turns" mentioned in the manual's walkthrough of the tutorial scenario.
But when I play the tutorial (as the Soviets), I get up to turn 15 and realize it's not the short little 10-turn tutorial I thought it was.

a) when browsing for a single-player scenario to play, where does it say how many turns are in that scenario?
b) where, in game, can you click to re-read the scenario and view the number of turns in the scenario?

Thanks,
cra2

Game length and current turn number is mentioned in the bottom left of the status display in your phase (near the visibility number).
It can be seen and adjusted in game set-up through the view map screen as well in non-scenario games.
Scenario designers may or may not include the turn count in their text. Scenario text is only available in the scenario selection screen.

But game length is only a guide, as always.
- game length may extend if any objectives are contested
(roughly, some enemy forces not in retreat/rout are within ~300m)
The game has always been this way - it is there to stop a kamikaze rush of any outstanding objectives in the end turn with depleted units.

- the AI may throw the towel in early if its sufficiently beaten up, and the other side holds all objectives

PBEM games between humans tend to stick to the advertised turn count (but may still extend a move or 2).
