Gmail Invites for you (Tactical Combat Tourney)
I've got some gmail invites!
I'd also like to do some IRC tactical combat <img src="http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif" alt="" />
So how about a little tactical combat tourney?
Suggestions on rules and settings are welcome.

Fleet Setup A:
1 scanner escort - reveal enemy ship stats from range 6
2 PD frigates - only ships with PD. Armed with Meson BLasters.
1 DUC destroyer - only ship with phased shields
1 Cloaked LC - invisible to enemy, can't fire until decloaked. Armed with Meson BLasters.
1 PPB cruiser - Great against anything but the destroyer. Level 1 PPBs
1 CSM battleship - long range firepower
1 Large transport - unarmed troop transport to defend.

Its a big friend-of-a-friend signup scheme.
As far as I know, random existing accounts are given the chance to invite new people every now and then.
I got mine from the tech support guys at my Last job, and now I'm spreading it to the SE4 community

Ooh, can I get one? It seems like everyone but me has been getting an invite lately 
And is that fleet for SEIV? I thought cloaking was only for strategic movement, not combat...

It's easy when you have one guy (SJ) controlling both sides doing the actual combat and relaying Messages via IRC. You simply don't tell Player A about Player B's cloaked ships.
EDIT: I probably should have said "possible" instead of "easy". Since it's probably a lot of work for SJ, I don't know that easy is the correct word to use there.
