NihiliX: At first I thought you'd at least need a second ship standing back to prevent the view zooming in, so as to provide enough background space to escape to, but then I figured it out
I can confirm that it can indeed be done with just a single Zorg fighter (and far more easily than with the hit and run tactic I was initially attempting!)
edit: Not wanting to steal NihiliX's thunder, but as people seem keen for some kind of evidence I'll provide this one screen (see attachment).
Sure it could be modded, but where's the fun in that?!
