Yes, I was turtling as Gath, but do you really feel I should have been dom-killed? I would like some advice as to how to avoid being killed by having no dominion.

Dominions 3 crashes on start up

Dominions 3 started crashing on start-up for me. The arrow appears over a black screen and then nothing. Clicking produces a crash message and a gray screen. For some reason, rebooting helps fix this...

I'm just tired of getting stalemated by AI LE Ermor. They attack in stacks of 400-2000 and slaughter the PD. Even with purgatory and the spell that attacks heretics in your dominion, their numbers...

Static defense guide

What is a good defense guide? I want to capture provinces, built a castle and leave them protected. Even PD 125 won't stop a determined attack and I don't like to move my main army all over the place...

I think their big army had about 40 leaders. Might be hard without fliers.

I always set independent strength to 9.

Without PD, what defensive strategies do you recommend? What sort of defensive force would I keep in each province?

I was using H2 priests to banish, but...

Defeating Ashen Ermor?

I am playing as Man against late Ermor. I've been able to maintain a defensive line for most of the game, but they just crushed two of my provinces. All of my provinces have castles and 125 defense....

Because I like the commander to contribute to the battle after he is done buffing. Prophets get divine blessing unlike most priests and prophet makes the unit free of upkeep. So you may as well pick...

Didn't find them in Edi's DB. Did not find wayback machine. Do not have enough blood magic to summon. Wondering if they're worth it.

Which one is stronger? I like using a few super soldiers in SP and thought about which would be better. Niefelheim has +3 Cold scales while Hinnom only gets a +2 Heat advantage. Nief giants get cold...

What happens to the mage when the lifelong contract to get a devil each turn expires? Does the mage lose his if he dies with this item in his inventory? Is the item removable?

Tips for fighting misform units

Every time I fight mistform units, I get get beaten even when attacking with overwhelming forces, like crusher and iron dragon armies. How can I beat enemies like that?
