There is a lot of suffering from Dom2 syndrome here - in Dom3 Strands of Arcane Power works as advertised, it does a level 9 search in all paths in all provinces with friendly dominion. I was playing...

When you cast the global enchantment Strands of Arcane Power is cast, this does a level 9 search in all paths in all friendly dominion provinces - however it does not update the nation overview info...

Also the description of the weightless kite shield and weightless tower shield are the same. I think the stats on the shields are the wrong way around as well

Temples, prophets, pretender all cause dominion to spread. It is explained in the manual.

At least they cause more checks for spread to occurr.

There are some ways of speeding up play. Once you get to a certain size, then mostly use the nation overview screen (F1) you can enter most commands directly there - and it is easy to see what hasn't...

It was a Manticore pretender. I think the Ai was using a modified SC strategy with a hero doing most of the fighting backed up by the pretender. However both were on the top ten heroes list, the hero...

I agree, the Wiki should be detailed, just with detail that is not in the manual. The Wiki can explain things that are just glossed over in the manual - it can have various play strategies and reason...
