I think the extra speed missiles are getting will help with this issue, will generally mean that PDC only get one shot off at missiles rather than the average two they get now.

The communications mimic (at least in this case) causes an immediate state of war between two races. Needless to say this is quite a nasty attack as previously friendly fleets and ships immediately...

When the summary is highlighted there is a combat replay button lit down on the bottom right which allows you to watch a replay that looks like tactical combat but you don't get to see the damage...

Yes that has happened to me. I have been doing on auto turn to get the fighters launched then. It does not happen all the time, but I have not determined what causes it.
