Bugs and weird stuff
 

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any bugs or exploits for SE4?

Also, I had some wierd things happen to me during my recent games. At on point I lost over 50% of my research points while crancking out counter-intell III for many turns. Also in a new game I lost 90000 radioactives in one turn and I am the only one with any intell. I had full supplies in all areas and suddenly I had a lack of resources and I had to get rid of some of my ships. My net Rad. mant. cost was only -250.

If we do know of any bugs or 'exploits' we send them to MM to be fixed, we don't trade & save them for twinks to use. If you've found something and you want confirmation or explanation then post it here. But when you do it will be immediately on the road to doom, not filed in the twink arsenal.

Perhaps I simply phrased it incorrectly. I Should have asked if anyone had experenced something like this or would know why it happened. I think that losing all of your resources and wanting to know why it happened doen't qualify as being a twink but is just not wanting tohav it happen again. If it was a bug or an 'exploit' I would rather know that than if it was smething that an opponent did or a natural happening. I'm new to the game and simply wanted to know if there was something that I was missing. Knowledge can be used for both good and evil. I just want to prevent me from getting accedently screwed over.

It sounds to me like you lost a spaceport. Was one of your planets attacked the previous turn?

Was this a PBW game? If so I can check it out and see if there was a legitimate explanation for your resources going away. There is almost always an legitimate explanaition for these things. I'd be happy to check it out and set your mind at ease. And if it's a bug we can get it off to MM to fix.

It was not PBW, I haven't yet tried that type of game yet. This wierdness happened to be about 1.3 years ago and I think it happened the same time that I upgraded my rad. facilities. I just wanted to try to figure out why it happened because I know that that would be killer in PBW.
